A man aged in his 40s has been arrested after €800,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in Co Carlow on Thursday evening.
It is understood the arrest comes after Gardai seized a large quantity of cannabis during a routine stop and search on the M9.
Gardai say the man was arrested at the scene and was taken to Carlow Garda Station.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
