Gardaí in Co Limerick have confirmed that a man has sadly died following an accident at a farm on Saturday.
It is understood the man aged in his 40s was killed whilst construction work was being carried out at the farm in Abbeayfeale, on Saturday evening.
Although emergency services rushed to the scene, Gardai say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident.
