Sean Ducque, 31, appeared in Dublin District Court yesterday afternoon after being accused of robbing a taxi driver with a shotgun.
The unemployed man has been refused bail. The incident took place on Sunday evening at Terrace Park, Dublin 1. Ducque, was arrested around 6.45am on Monday morning.
Ducque, was charged with possession of a firearm which is a maximum of 14 years. CCTV in the taxi recorded the incident.
An application for bail was made but it was refused due to the nature of the offence.
Ducque has remained in custody and will appear before the court in a couple of days.
