A 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with the attempted abduction of a woman in Cabra earlier this week.
According to RTÉ News, the accused man appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice charged with false imprisonment and assault causing harm.
The charges relate to an incident last Monday, when a woman aged in her late 60s was approached by a man who attempted to force her into the boot of a car in Cabra.
RTÉ News reports that the man has been remanded in custody and will appear before Cloverhill District Court next Thursday.
