Gardaí have confirmed that a man has been arrested following the discovery of €2m worth of illegal drugs at Rosslare Port.
It is understood the man’s arrest comes after the drugs believed to be cocaine were found by customs officials inside a horsebox which came off a ferry that arrived at the port on Thursday evening.
Gardaí say the man from the Midlands was arrested at the scene and was taken to Wexford Garda Station.
He is currently being detained under the Drug Trafficking Act.
