A man has been arrested after reversing a lorry into the gates of the Russian Embassy in Dublin
Locals have grown somewhat used to protests outside the Russian Embassy in Dublin, but things escalated dramatically in Rathgar today at 1:30pm.
Some people had called for the Russian Ambassador to be expelled from the country, however today things really appeared to get out of hand when a lorry driver reversed his truck through the gates of the Russian Embassy in protest against the crisis in Ukraine.
He spoke to locals in the area declaring that he wanted a safe passage for people to be able to leave the Ukraine, shortly after which gardai arrived and arrested the man.
