Gardaí in Limerick have arrested a man aged in his 20s following a shooting incident in the city on Thursday evening.
It is understood the man was arrested after a number of shots were fired into the garden of a house on the Hyde Road, at approximately 6.15pm on Thursday evening.
Although Gardai say no one was injured in the incident, Gardai say there were a number of people in the garden at the time of the incident.
They also say that a man aged in his 20s was arrested and taken to Roxboro Garda Station.
