Gardaí in Co Cork have confirmed that a man aged in his 20s has been arrested in connection with attack on a young woman in Bandon.
It is understood the man’s arrest comes after the young woman was knocked to the ground and had her handbag stolen whilst walking on Castle Road in Bandon, on December 1st.
Gardai say the man was arrested on Friday and was taken to Bandon Garda Station for questioning.
