Police in the UK have arrested a 26 year old man in connection with the alleged abduction and rape of a teenage girl.
According to Metro.co.uk, the man was arrested after the young girl was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted in the North Place area in the South West of the capital.
It is reported that police urged the man to turn himself in to police for his own safety amid fears that a vigilante group was looking for him.
Police say the teenage girl is currently receiving support from specialist officers.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
