Man caught urinating on to conveyor belt at Kelloggs factory is jailed

A worker who was caught urinating on to the production line at a Kelloggs factory in the US, has been sent to prison.

According to FOX 13, the man Gregory Stanton, 49, has been sentenced to 10 months in prison and fined $10,000 after he was found guilty of tainting consumer products with the intent to cause serious injury to the business of any person.

Stanton who was caught on CCTV, became the subject of an investigation after footage showing him urinating on a conveyor belt was uploaded online in 2016.

It is believed that Stanton also poured a bucket to urine directly on to products on the production line at the factory in Memphis, which were later sold and most likely consumed.

Although Stanton pleaded guilty to charges brought against him, he was given a prison sentence and the large fine at a court on Wednesday.
