A man has passed away in hospital following a suspected assault in Co. Kildare on Friday night.
The deceased, a man in his 30s, was found at Glenaree Bridge in Rathangan shortly after 9pm. He was rushed to Naas General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident.
