Gardai in Co Limerick have arrested a man after another man was hospitalised for facial injuries following an incident in the Garryowen area on Tuesday.
It is understood that the man was treated for injuries at University Hospital Limerick following the incident which occurred on Tuesday night.
Gardai say a man aged in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station.
