Man killed by lion he kept locked in a cage in his back garden for breeding

A man in the Czech Republic has been killed after a lion that he kept locked in a cage in his back garden attacked him.

According to reports in the Czech Republic, the man Michal Prasek, 34, was killed by the lion when it attacked him when he went inside the cage.

It is believed that Mr Prasak who brought the lion from Slovakia back in 2016.

Although Prasak did not obtain a permit to keep the lion, it is understood that he bought the lion for breeding.

Police say they were alerted to the incident on Tuesday and they were forced to shoot the lion and its cub in order to get to Mr Prasak’s body.
