Police in the UK have confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Jodie Chesney.
According to Sky News, the man whose name or age hasn’t been revealed – was arrested in Leicester on Tuesday.
It is understood that the man will be transferred to London, where police will question him over the teenager’s death last Friday evening.
Jodie was tragically killed in a park in Romford, in the East of the city, whilst she was out playing music with friends.
It is believed that the teenager was approached by two males, one of whom stabbed her in the back before fleeing the scene.
