Martin encourages visitors to President Trump’s Doonbeg golf course in Co Clare

People have been urged to visit Donald Trump’s “stunning” golf course off the west coast of Ireland by Taoiseach Micheál Martin, reports Breaking News.

In response, Mr. Trump told reporters, “I love this guy.”

During a visit with the US president in the Oval Office, the Taoiseach lauded the Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Doonbeg, Co Clare, reports Breaking News.

A local councillor had sent Mr. Martin a note requesting that he express gratitude to Mr. Trump and his family for their efforts on behalf of the Doonbeg community.

The US president said, “I hope soon,” that he will pay a visit to his hotel in Doonbeg, reports Breaking News.

Mr Martin said to Mr Trump: “You have the distinction of being the only US president that has physically invested in Ireland through Doonbeg,” reports Breaking News.

The president replied: “And it’s been a good investment,” reports Breaking News.
