Martin: The target now is to get to the Christmas break, recalibrate and review how we deal with the next semester

In what can only be described as a truly open ended statement, the Taoiseach Micheal Martin said that the government is pedalling towards Christmas with schools and will determine what’s what then.
It goes hand in hand with what the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly said on last night’s Primetime where he proudly announced that he could not confirm whether schools would be able to reopen or not in January after the Christmas holidays.
Martin said Face masks are required for children aged 9 onwards but will not be a legal requirement, in yet another ominous statement.
