Martin: We’ll take advice from NPHET on the week leading up to April 5th about whether we can ease restrictions after another 6 weeks

Will they, won’t they? Who knows at this stage, the only thing certain is that NPHET is pulling the government’s strings and what they say goes.

NPHET are dictating when the Irish public can see some sort of normality return to life while the government are going to bend to whatever demands NPHET tell them to.

The Taoiseach said in the Dail by declaring to the Irish public that there’s no magic tree out there that we can pick vaccines off, that’s an illusion

Martin appears to think that vaccines will be the answer to, that’s if we can get them.
“I spoke to the UK Prime Minister. We spoke about vaccines. he said that he’d love to help Ireland but has to ensure the UK gets vaccinated first.”

Now, it appears as though after April 5th, there is going to be just a lift on the 5km rule,

Speaking in the Dail, the Taoiseach Micheal Martin said that “in the week leading into the 5th, we’ll take advice from NPHET and then advise what we believe is the best way forward for the following six weeks.”

Many analysists are now saying that it looks like we’re going to be locked down until at least the middle of May with a plan to start easing restrictions from there on into the summer.
