The Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has refused to rule out submitting a motion of no confidence in the Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney.
Speaking about Coveney’s actions, McDonald said that the Fine Gael TD engaged in behaviour not of the standard expected of a minister.
McDonald who called on the Taoiseach Micheal Martin to take action said it could very come to a situation where a motion of no confidence may be submitted.
She added that if the Taoiseach failed to act Sinn Fein would.
