Good news for jobseekers this morning, as Alere, a medical technology company based in Galway, has announced the creation of 40 jobs at its Ballybrit plan.
Alere supplies rapid medical diagnostic kits for the diagnosis of a wide array of medical conditions, with particular focus on its point-of-care HIV tests.
40 extra staff will be recruited this year, bringing the total number of people working in the plant to 150. It is understood that recruitment has already commenced.
