Luas drivers will walk out of the job a further two days in March after talks aimed at averting industrial action were cancelled.
The result is that there will be stoppages on March 8 and March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day), as the row over pay continues with no sign of being resolved.
Luas drivers are asking for pay rises of up to 53% over seven years, something that the Luas operator, Transdev, is not prepared to concede.
