The weekend just gone brought about some fairly cold weather, and while temperatures are set to rise slightly today, there will be widespread rain across the country.
Monday morning is set to be a miserable, wet one. The rain will continue throughout but will stop for a time in the afternoon.
There won’t be much sun today, as overcast conditions will be predominant. Temperatures will rise to about 10C in places.
There will be persistent rain again tonight, though conditions are expected to be marginally better tomorrow. Wednesday and Thursday are set to be fairly windy and wet, so no great improvement weather wise just yet.
