Some people have raised eyebrows at a pub announcing that it’s having a “girls only” party night in order to try and stop girls getting spiked. Some people say that it’s not just girls who get spiked and that men can be attacked on a night out too.
A Nottingham pub is holding girls-only parties after several women are reportedly spiked by being given needles, a new trend of spiking women.
The UK pub named The Playwright will hold the event once a week and men will not be allowed in on the night that the event is held.
Only female staff will work on site near the Nottingham Trent University campus, meaning no food will be available as the pub chef is male.
Girls’ first night begins Wednesday, November 3, from 6 p.m. until closing with more nights planned.
