The sale of Menthol cigarettes will be prohibited from tomorrow it has been revealed.
It is understood the ban which was announced back in 2016 will come into effect as part of new EU Tobacco product Directive laws.
The ban which has been welcomed by the Minister for Health Simon Harris comes after recent studies showed that Menthol are considered more addictive and an attractive option for smokers and those who take up the habit.
