Met Eireann is this evening confirming the return of summer-like conditions from today onwards as high pressure dominates weather patterns.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures reached 20C today amidst mostly dry conditions. There is a similar outlook for tomorrow and Friday.
Looking ahead at the weekend, current indications point at a continuation of fine weather, with temperatures reaching 22C.
