Met Eireann is today forecasting a mostly dry weekend, with the possibility of heavy outbreaks of rain throughout Sunday evening.
According to the national forecaster, Saturday and Sunday will be bright but cool days, with highest temperatures reaching 14C at times.
The outlook is for a wet and damp start of the working week, with heavy showers expected, possibly leading to further flooding.
