Met Eireann is today forecasting freezing temperatures for two provinces, with lows of -2C likely.
According to the national forecaster, it will be rather chilly around many areas of Munster and Leinster today, though the good news is that it will remain sunny and largely dry.
The general outlook is for a few days of dry and settled weather lasting into the weekend.
