Met Eireann is forecasting the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures reaching 27C.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures will reach mid- to late-20s throughout the weekend, with little in the way of rain.
Met Eireann says that high pressure will dominate weather patterns for an extended period, leading to settled, summer-like conditions.
