Met Eireann is today forecasting the weather to improve steadily as the week goes on, with temperatures reaching high teens by the weekend.
According to the national forecaster, today, Monday, will start off cloudy and dull, with drier and clearer weather following, and temperatures reaching 14-15C at times.
Conditions will noticeably improve from Tuesday on, with long sunny spells, little or no rain, and temperatures topping 17C and even 18C.
