Met Eireann has just issued a new weather warning affecting six counties.
The Status Yellow warning for heavy rainfall covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, and Waterford.
The warning will kick in at 6pm this evening and remain in effect until 1am on Monday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rainfall overnight, with the possibility of localized flooding.
