Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow warning ahead of strong winds this coming weekend.
According to the national forecaster, Friday is expected to be a rather wet and windy day, with heavy downpours expected at times.
The warning, which affects the entire coastal area of Ireland and the Irish Sea, will kick in at 4am tonight and remain in effect until 1pm.
