Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Orange warning for two counties ahead of horrid weather conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Cork and Kerry, will kick in at 7am on Wednesday morning and remain in effect until midnight.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain and strong winds.
