Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for three counties as icy conditions approach.
The Status Yellow alert, which covers counties Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo, will kick in at 5pm today and remain in place until 11m on Thursday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience wintry showers and icy conditions.
