Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for two counties ahead of miserable weather conditions.
The Status Yellow warning, which covers countries Cork and Kerry, will kick in at 6pm this evening and remain in effect until 2am.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain, which may lead to localized flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
