Met Eireann is today predicting a 2-week long heatwave, with temperatures reaching mid 20s at times.
According to the national forecaster, the next few days will be mild and settled, with daytime temperatures remaining in the high teens or low 20s.
There will be little change next week as high pressure will continue to dominate weather patterns.
