The national forecaster is predicting a miserable weekend ahead, weather wise at least, as snow and thunder are in the cards.
Snow might fall across some areas of high ground in Connacht, west Ulster, and west Munster on Sunday, with daytime temperatures barely reaching 7C-8C. There’s also the possibility of thunder during Sunday night.
The outlook is for a very cold start of the following week, with freezing nights and wintry showers at times.
