Officials in the North that tests are being carried out on a patient following a suspected case of corona virus.
According to RTÉ News, medical personnel at Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital are carrying out tests after a patient presented with symptoms over the weekend.
Although no official comment has been made, it is believed that the tests are being carried out as a precautionary measure and the patient is currently being kept in isolation at the hospital.
The news comes after Chinese authorities suspended transport links out of the city of Wuhan.
