Met Eireann is predicting warm and mostly dry weather for the weekend and into next week.
According to the national forecaster, the thermometer will rise to 23-24C at times, almost a record for Ireland for the month of October.
The warm spell is likely to last until late on Tuesday, with temperatures becoming cooler from Wednesday onwards.
