Met Eireann says that high pressure will continue dominating weather patterns this week, but cold temperatures likely to return by Sunday




Met Eireann is today saying that high pressure will continue dominating weather patterns this week, but cold temperatures are likely to return by Sunday.

According to the national forecaster, today, Tuesday, will see temperatures reaching 17-18C at times, mostly in western areas.

Wednesday is forecast to bring a mix of cloudy and sunny periods, with highest temperatures of 14-15C.

Thursday and Friday appear to be similar days, with bright periods mixed with duller conditions.

Current indications show rain returning on Saturday followed by a drier but colder Sunday.
