Met Eireann is saying that there will be a change in the weather for the better this week.
According to the national forecaster, today, Monday, will remain rather wet and dull, but relatively mild, with temperatures reaching double digits at times.
Things will begin to change by tomorrow though, as long sunny spells develop in many areas. The trend of mostly dry and settled weather is expected to continue throughout the week, with early forecasts pointing to an extended period of settled weather conditions.
