Met Eireann is warning of a three-day-long snowstorm across Ireland as a weather warning kicks in.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures will drop significantly throughout the evening and night today, with widespread snowfalls expected overnight, particularly across Connacht and Ulster.
Met Eireann says that western areas are likely to see the worst of the weather over the coming hours and days.
