Met Eireann is today warning of cold weather taking hold over the coming days, with daytime temperatures remaining in single digits.
According to the national forecaster, the coming week will be rather cold, with thermometers barely reaching 6-7C during the day, and sinking back to -2C or -3C after dark.
The forecaster is also warning of the possibility of snow falls over high ground on Wednesday night.
