Met Eireann is today warning of high temperatures over the coming weekend, with highs of low 30s likely.
The national forecaster has issued an advisory, telling people to spend as little time outdoors as possible.
The advisory will remain in place until Tuesday, ahead of a possible turn in the weather by Wednesday.
