Met Eireann is today warning of several storms currently moving across the Atlantic towards Ireland, with severe weather expected next week.
According to the national forecaster, the current spell of cold weather will come to an end by the weekend, only to be replaced by far more unsettled conditions.
People are being advised to be prepared for weather warnings to be issued over the coming days.
