Met Eireann is this evening warning of ‘tropical’ thunderstorms hitting Ireland over the next few days.
The weather will begin changing from later this evening as more unsettled conditions become predominant.
Monday will be a rather wet and showery day, with frequent outbreaks of rain throughout the morning and afternoon, moving eastwards as the day goes on.
It will remain relatively mild, with temperatures reaching the low 20s at times.
The outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday is for wet weather, with thundery showers at times, and temperatures sinking back to 16-20C.
