The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for northern counties.
The warning, which covers counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry, will be in place until 9pm tonight.
According to the agency, many areas around these counties might experience torrential rain at times, which may cause localized flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
