A devastating Ukrainian rocket attack has reportedly eliminated a top Russian general, among many other casualties.
52-year-old Sergey Goryachev, a Major-general who was chief of staff of the Russian 35th Combined Arms Army, died a fiery death amidst a barrage of rocket fire.
The outstanding victory was achieved in the Zaporizhzhia region in southern Ukraine in the last few hours.
Ukraine’s counter-offensive continues apace, with no fewer than seven villages (Novodarivka, Storozheve, Blahodatne, Neskuchne, Makarivka, Lobkove, and Levadne) already liberated along the line of contact (west to east, about 60 miles long, just southeast of Zaporizhzhia city.)
