The situation for those applying for international protection who are camped out in Dublin’s city center is getting worse, reports RTE.

There are males there with respiratory ailments and several with scabies.

According to Social Rights Ireland, a volunteer organization, they are currently overburdened and have requested that the government intervene, reports RTE.

The number of tents lining the sidewalk outside the Mount Street I.P. office conceals the severity of an expanding humanitarian crisis.

There are more tents all around the structure and beyond it, totaling around 150, which are housing about 200 applicants for international protection, reports RTE.
