It was a sad day for Minder fans today as news broke that actor Dennis Waterman has died aged 74.
According to the Metro, Waterman, who played Terry McCann in the iconic programme, was said to have died in Spain with his wife Pam by his side.
He played Arthur Daley’s bodyguard for many years in the popular show, acting as the minder for the used-car salesman. He also sang the opening theme song to the show, “I Could Be So Good For You” and starred in the police show The Sweeney.
Waterman is survived by his wife and two daughters.
