It has emerged that the Minister for the Environment Alan Kelly cancelled a meeting to tackle homelessness with Dublin Councillors last Wednesday night.

The alleged cancellation of the meeting is due to Minister Kelly not having enough time because he was too busy trying to deal with the Irish Water issue.

Meanwhile, John Corrie from Carlow, a 43-yr-old homeless man living in Dublin, perished from the cold on Sunday night while he slept outside a doorway on Molesworth St opposite the Dail entrance.
