Joe McHugh, the Minister for Education has said that 2020’s Leaving Certificate exams will “potentially” start on the 29th July.
McHugh was speaking on an Instagram Live chat with Spunout.ie and said that the department of education was looking at starting the exams on a Wednesday, as is the normal tradition of the Leaving Cert, revealing that his department was now looking at the date of July 29th.
McHugh said that he’d formally revealing this date in a couple of days time.
Students are desperately trying to figure out just what the plan of action is and how on earth they’re going to be safely be able to sit their State exams.
